I’m Inspiring AND Inspired!

Today I’ve been working on my acceptance speeches for certain awards I’ve recently received.  *snicker* Admittedly, I’m at a loss for words… I know, shocking, right?  A couple of days ago, Deborah at Container Chronicles blessed me with the very inspiring blogger award!  Gosh Guys!  You’re KILLING me!  lol  I don’t feel worthy and I’m hoping everyone doesn’t get sick and tired of me!  I love you all though, I do, I REALLY do 🙂  Thank you Miss Deborah!

The rules:

1. Display the award logo on your blog.
2. Link back to the person who nominated you.
3. State 7 things about yourself.
4. Nominate 15 other bloggers for this award and link to them.
5. Notify those bloggers of the nomination and the award’s requirements.

7 things about myself

1.  I’m the biggest procrastinator that I know.

2.  I’m a very loyal friend.

3.  I love canoeing and kayaking!

4.  I have a very sarcastic sense of humor.

5.  I can’t WAIT till the weather gets warm enough so we can start fishing again!

7.  One of my favorite summer time activities is camping!  I still love tent camping.  We usually go somewhere on the river where we can float and fish and swim 🙂

  1. Congratulations on the award well deserved, and you deserved many more, like the way you did the award, I thought I was the biggest procrastinator in the world, I love how the awards make us learn a bit more about our friends, you love the outdoors like me but I never go camping or fishing maybe I should try it. Thank you so much for including me, but like I said it before you are a true inspiration to me, but I do appreciated dearly, thanks again!!

    • Awww! You always get me right in the heart lady! You must not be aware of how much you give to people. You’ve certainly been there to lift me up and I appreciate the heck out of you for that! (((hugs)))

  2. ❤ thank you so much! I generally don't participate in these sorts of things (it would seem out of place on my blog) but still THANK YOU! My family still loves tent camping, too. Nothing like it!

    • HAHA! I love that you have a theme and that something would seem out of place! Nothing seems out of place on my blog. lol Maybe it’s time for me to unclutter 😉 Anyway, no sweat. I know that many don’t participate. Just wanted you to know that I appreciate you and love YOU! 🙂 Oh and I’d wanted more people to find you because I think you have so much to say that people need to hear but just by me linking you, maybe they’ll find you anyway. Lindsey, you really need to run for some kind of office one day. AND I mean that! lol

    • You take your time. I know you’re busy. It took me all week to get to this one too. I don’t usually do them as fast as I did your award. haha They take a lot of time but the GOOD news is that THIS one won’t take nearly as much time as the Liebster award took. If you never get to it, it’s okay too. Just have fun and do what you can and GOOD luck with that nasty homework!

      • Yuk. At least you’re being dedicated. I mean, I NEVER have a meal plan. It’s a great idea and if I was dedicated and disciplined, I’d do it. That’s why I have almost a complete grocery store in my house though. I have deep freezers and pantries full of whatever I may want to cook on any given night. Some call me a food hoarder. I think I do this because of the years of being poor and not having food. lol

      • My great-grandmother (the one that was like a mother to me) lived through the Great Depression. You haven’t seen hoarding until you saw her inventory of oatmeal. Lol. I also go off the meal plan list quite a bit, but it’s nice to have 3/4 meals that week that actually get made. I shop sales quite a bit now and restock what I use. Cans didn’t exist in this house until I quit my job, but boy do they now! 🙂

      • That’s pretty much exactly how I shop… sales, I mean. I do my shopping (well MAJOR shopping) once every two months. I GET your grandma. Once you’ve gone through any kind of “need”, you tend to swear that this will never happen again. You’ve seen or read Gone With The Wind, right? Scarlet Ohara shakes her fist at the sky and proclaims “As GOD is my witness, I’ll never go hungry again”… that was me…. totally.

      • HAHAHA! Definitely WITH the carrot! Although I’d remembered it to be a potato! lmao What do I know… I’m probably getting senile! hahaha
