Weekly Photo Challenge: Color

Weekly Photo Challenge: Color

There’s color even in the dead of winter. This is a pic of a sunrise over Sunnen Lake at the YMCA Trout Lodge in Potosi MO during February.

“Mere color, unspoiled by meaning, and unallied with definite form, can speak to the soul in a thousand different ways. ”

    • That’s beautiful! Can’t wait to get a second to take a look at your other art 🙂 It’s amazing that you can see so much color in grass.

Every week they (WordPress) does a weekly photo challenge. You can post the title “Weekly Photo Challenge” or WPC and then whatever the subject is for the week. Show you stuff off that way so more people find your page 🙂 I’m NOWHERE close to being a professional but it’s nice to share. I have a feeling people are going to be blown away with your art! Good luck and THANK you for stopping by and sharing!

      • Wow thank you I was not expecting so much kindness! Your blog is awesome and you seem like a very successful blogger! I cannot grasp my head around how people can get so many likes and followers, true talent. And that’s very cool about the weekly photo challenge I might try that out 🙂 Thanks again for your awesome reply!

      • HAHA! Well THANK you for saying that. As you get more into blogging, I know you’ll figure out the secret to blogging is to comment and follow other bloggers. THAT’S how you get so many likes and comments. That kind of makes me seem like a fraud, huh? lol I’m not, I promise. I really DO read the blogs I comment on and if I like you, you’ll really know it. And I like your work:-) So far so good sistah! lol

But really, the more comments and likes your blog gets, the more you go up in your statistics and the more visible your blog becomes to the public. That’s what the awards are good for too. To bring others to different blogs that are worthy of being seen. I have a feeling you’ll be getting awards in the future and if you participate, it brings more people to see your work 😉

Sorry about being so long winded but you caught me on a GOOD day! lol And thank YOU for stopping by. The “comments” are WAY more special to me than the “likes”. Not many people take the time to comment and without the comments, blogging is just not all that worth it. To me anyway 🙂

      • Wow I think it is crazy that I just saw your reply for the first time! And it’s a good one too! Thank you for being so kind! I will let you know that I just posted for a Weekly Photo Challenge for the first time… Well, I happened to write a post that worked perfectly with the challenge: patterns! Haha so I just added weekly photo challenge in the tags. It counts right? hahah Anyways, thanks for being so nice!
